Simmons Gainsford champions Gibraltar’s young artists with SAF Student Prize sponsorship

We are honoured to be the lead sponsor of the Sovereign Art Foundation (SAF) Student Prize in Gibraltar, a remarkable initiative celebrating the artistic talents of young people in our community while funding therapeutic art programmes that support children and offer them vital opportunities.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the SAF Gibraltar team, the dedicated local art teachers who encourage and guide their students, and the judges who took on the challenging task of selecting finalists from over 104 outstanding entries.

Our best wishes go to all entrants, and we look forward to awarding the Simmons Gainsford Prize.

Simmons Gainsford Gibraltar Managing Partner, Paul Wharton, commented: “Here at Simmons Gainsford, we are very proud to sponsor the SAF Student Prize in Gibraltar for 2024, for what is now the fourth year in a row. We continue to be in awe of each submission which demonstrates the exceptional creativity and talent of Gibraltar’s young artists. They should be immensely proud of their achievements.”

SAF Chairman, Howard Bilton, added: “We are so pleased with all SAF has achieved so far having grown into a global charitable organisation and we recognise the vital support of partners such as Simmons Gainsford in helping us achieve these goals. We are deeply grateful to Simmons Gainsford for their continued support of the SAF Students Prize Gibraltar. Their support has been instrumental in driving the success of the Prize and helping provide grants to charitable organisations that have impacted hundreds of children in Gibraltar through the arts. It has also enabled us to showcase the extraordinary talent of young artists in Gibraltar. Together, we are celebrating the power of art in education and fostering a vibrant creative community.”
