[:en]We are proud to announce that we have agreed to support Chailey Heritage Foundation over the next year.
Chailey Heritage Foundation is a pioneering charity providing education, care and transition services for children and young people with complex physical disabilities and health needs.
They are recognised as one of the UK’s leading centres for children and young adults with neurological motor impairment such as Cerebral Palsy, and they have a national reputation for their work in supporting young people’s communication and developing independence through powered mobility.
Their aim is to provide a stimulating and inclusive environment where all young people are given every opportunity to make progress towards fulfilment and develop life skills in preparation for adulthood.
The partners and staff at Simmons Gainsford Uckfield have agreed to give up a day in the office to spend at Chailey Heritage Foundation helping out with various tasks such as painting, gardening etc.
Chailey Heritage Foundation will also sell raffle tickets at our yearly Rounders event on Thursday 7th July.

All of the young people we support are wheelchair users and rely on highly specialised equipment to participate in activities such as cycling or swimming that their able-bodied peers may take for granted. Support from the community is vital in providing the facilities which enable them to fulfil their potential and lead as active, happy and fulfilled lives as possible” says Jenny Hanraads, Development Manager at Chailey Heritage Foundation.
